snow and rain and weather ..nope...

what the heck, weather?! it's snowy, it's rainy, it's gray and cloudy and awful. for weeks and weeks.

and yeah, i know that it's winter but still....it all makes us want to say no. nope. NO! just - no more... but i have heard that hibernation is the new pantone color this year, so there's that...

ah well... we've got you covered here while we wait out the weather (and hopefully, learn about ways to better to positively impact the environment and reduce the negative effects of climate change!)...it's so much easier to shop online with us to find your words in clever and funny and motivational ways..  spark some joy for yourself and get ready for warmer weather...

"i have paperwork up the wazoo!  so much homework up the wazoo this week!  my stress is OUT the wazoOO right now!!"  ..you get it.

i've heard that this might be a more northern / midwestern expression..but I have used it most of my life, it's funny, kind of sarcasmy, and perfect for the pretty clever store and craft events!

It's Officially Fall...

Pretty Clever Words is thrilled to be a part of the 45th Annual Chapel Hill Art Festival - yep, that's right - it's time for Festifall 2017!
Last year was a first for me, and I was completely impressed by the organization, the customers and the products flying out of the booth.  As a vendor, load-in can be so stressful, but the organizers and volunteers made it very easy and smooth.  The customers were great - both interested and interesting!  It was the perfect event to make a lot of sales on my fall and seasonal products, and to get feedback on popular items to make for the holiday season.
This event takes place in downtown Chapel Hill, along West Franklin Street, and it is a highlight of the fall craft season for me - I know you will love it too!

yes.  yes, we are racing.
even if it is only in my head, if we are next to each other on the treadmill, or passing each other on the trail? we.are.ALWAYS.racing.
i know, i know - compete with yourself, they say.
it's allll about just doing your own PR.  who has time to see what other people are doing?
be nice.
nice.
i'm nice!
it's just that...in my head, i always have to compete, try harder, be better.
even if it's just to outrun the voices in my head.
so yeah...those sidelong glances at your speed on the treadmill?  i'm doing that..
but when we're done - i'm going to compliment you on your run.
Need a new running shirt?  or just a competitive reading shirt? need to give voice to
find them all at a clever shirt collection...
