the inky navy and chalky white on this painted wood art panel follows the motion of the words, with the navy paint scratched across the letters.. it has the appearance of a black and white photo of words typed or written out on paper..
made from a hard basswood panel cradled by 1.5 inch hardwood sides, this piece has been carefully varnished, gessoed, painted, petted, soothed and fed to stand the test of time.
ok, maybe not petted and fed.. but still - really, really well-finished, to make the words stand out in beautiful stark relief.
