the inky black and chalky white on this painted wood art panel is done in block relief technique...it has the appearance of a black and white photo of words typed or written out on paper..

made from a hard basswood panel cradled by 1.5 inch hardwood sides, this piece has been carefully varnished, gessoed, painted, petted, soothed and fed to stand the test of time.

ok, maybe not petted and fed.. but still - really, really well-finished, to make the words stand out in beautiful stark relief.

shown here in a6x6 size, this panel can be made in other sizes as well - please see drop-down menu. EACH PIECE IS UNIQUE! while the words will be as shown, the background will differ...
